The Regional Division Chief for Operations, the Regional Operations Officer (ROO) will serve as an assistant to the Regional Chief of Operations (CoO) and will aid and assist them in the coordination and organization of Region One events. The ROO will also be available to aid and assist any Region One Commanding Officer and their chapter in setting up a Sector or Regional event. The ROO will also be responsible for assisting the CoO in handling any Conferences, Parrises Squares tournaments and the annual Olympics.

The Regional Operations Officer is appointed by the Regional Coordinator, with the approval of the Regional Chief of Operations, and will report to them as needed.

Chief of Operations (COP) -- The duties of the Chief of Operations shall include:

  • Maintain and update financial record(s) and bank account(s).
  • Submit bi-monthly financial and bi-monthly budget reports to the Executive Committee.
  • Submit a brief bi-monthly financial report to the Chief of Communications for inclusion in your ship/shuttle Newsletter.
  • Submit an annual financial report to the members.
  • Submit copies of all financial records to the Executive Officer to be placed in the Chapters archives.
  • Issue a numbered receipt for monies received for the Chapter.
  • Co-sign checks for disbursement of Chapter funds.
  • Deposit monies received for the Chapter in its bank account(s).
  • Inform the Executive Officer of monies received for Chapter membership (date received and from who) to update membership records.
  • Provide copies of all correspondence for the Chapter archives.
  • Summit a monthly report to the RDC-OPs of Region 1
  • Submit an bi-monthly report to the Commanding Officer.
  • Perform other duties as the Commanding Officer may assign.
